Today Paua shells group have been learning about Kakapo's. A Kakapo is a New Zealand bird and it was brought over from Codfish Island, Kakapo can live up to ninety years old. They say it is the longest living bird ever, but you never know there might be another bird that will live longer. Males puff up there chest and make a big booming noise to attract Females, I don't see how that's attractive but I think it will be cool to hear. Apparently you can hear the noise up to 5 kilometres, that must be a very very loud noise.
