Walt: write a lead paragraph of a news report

The 30th of April on a Thursday, Mr Goodwin introduced a new technology to Pt England students in Room 6 (Literacy) at Auckland, GI. A makey makey kit, Mr Goodwin borrowed it off from Mrs

Burt and some fruit from the staff room, and showed Room 6 what fruit and a makey makey kit can control with a game called tetris. This new technology was for our team and for our new topic, Tinkering tools and toys.

Our Task was to write report of what Mr Goodwin did today with a Makey Makey kit and fruit. A new Technology. It was amazing.

Games!!

Walt : identify the main points in the text Our task was to research different video games, and make a poster explaining the most popular games. When it was born, who invented it and what is it called. We had to gather all those things and make a card/poster. My one was Game Boy, Tetris, Super Mario and Pokemon. I hope you like it. :)

Lest we forget!

Why did they risk there lives for us? They died to protect us and our

country. William Arthur ham was the first person to die in the first world war, he was only 22 years old and died to protect his family, us and the country. We wear poppies to support Anzac day and to remember the ones who died for us. Wear poppies to support.

We are learning about Anzac day. I did research and these are the results. I really hope you enjoy and Rest in peace to the ones who died for us.

First day back at school!!

WALT: WRITE A DETAILED INTRODUCTION WITH HOOK AND ORIENTATION .

Has your teacher ever ridden a hovercraft! Well our first day at assembly was crazy, with food given out and our crazy teachers acting. It was a weird morning.

We lined up outside on the porch ready to go to Assembly. As the school got seated, we saw that Mrs Nua, Mrs Garden, Mr Burt and the prefects were baking pancakes and Marshmallows with cookies. While they were baking IIsa was controlling a drone helicopter that was flying above our heads. Some of us were really scared that it might drop and fall onto someone’s head  or maybe into the food.

As the food was given out Mr Burt Introduced Team one, there topic was about our healthy body, healthy food and a healthy playground. They started to give out sandwiches, celery and carrots to the children that were sitting up nicely. Once they have finished next up was team 2, there one was about winnie the pooh of how Eeyore doesn’t like his house anymore. So his friends Winnie, Piglet, Tigger and Roo helped him to love his house once again.

Finally it was team 3 for their act, There one was about what you can do in a rainy day with old stuff, Mrs Stickland, Mr Blakey and Miss Thompson was acting in a movie because they didn’t know what to do, when they thought of making old junk into new toys. This time it was our Team, Team 4 Mr Somerville was dressed as a superhero, There one was about a rainy day and Mr Baxendine

playing a video game.

The last and final Team, TEAM 5. There one was about how they can do better, Than Mr Barks came out and showed his experiment. Mr Barks showed his hovercraft about how you can fly in mid air across the hall and back, it was amazing because who was dementration Mr Somerville  was flying the hovercraft it was cool but funny at the same time.

My favorite part was when Mr Somerville rode on the hovercraft and pretended to be a cowboy. I love all the Teams act they were all funny and cool. I wish I could have that on a DVD, and replay for a hundreds times.

This is a recount about the first day back at school. It was a crazy morning as I said. I hope you enjoyed it.

First day back at school!!

Has your teacher ever ridden a hovercraft! Well our first day at assembly was crazy,

This is an small introduction about what happened in assembly today. My friend marked the rubric and the results were pretty good for me. Give me some feedback and you can even mark me out of a ten out of ten.

Ana and her tricks

Ana was no girl she never liked putting on dresses, playing with doll's, saying manners or sitting nicely as a normal girl. Ana loved to play with the boys and try to bet her brother at farting contests. Ana had five in her family including her there were Tomeah Ana's twin, Kalesha the elder sister, Sean the elder brother, Julie the mum, Andrew the dad and finally Ana the middle child.

One day Ana did something wrong to put off her mother, Julie got up and said "That's it your going to Manners school, where all the girls get treated well." Ana packed everything she needed, just in case they tried to brain wash her with something. Kalesha said "Your being paranoid Ana it is just going to be a few days" "yea, but what happens if I never change and then they try to brain wash me" Ana replied "Oh well wish YOU good luck," As the bus came to get Ana, Julie and Tomeah waving good bye. Tomeah was almost teary so as her mother. Julie knew that it was only going to be a few days but not having any trouble around would be strange. 

Once the bus was nearly there Ana was sitting at the back worrying what was going to happen when she gets there. On the bus there were a few girls but not that many, when they have arrived Ana made sure that she was the last one out so she won't show anyone her face. Once she walked inside the Manners school palace Ana dropped her mouth the place was so amazing. The next day all the girls had to line up and stand in a Girly way, but Ana Stood up with her feet apart and her knees bent. Mrs Frank stood her straight unbent her knees and told her to put her shoulders up. The next activity was to balance a book on her head, at somehow Ana's book always fell down and never ever stand on for at least one second, Mrs Frank came to her again and said "Relax and walk slowly" so Ana did.

As the days went past Ana started to walk, greet and said nice complements. When Julie came to pick Ana up Ana said Hello and walked to the car like a normal girl, Julie was shocked as she didn't do anything wrong, Ana kept saying weird words while the drive back. Ana fell asleep during the ride, Julie was thinking wondering what could have happen. When Julie and Ana came back home, Tomeah ran out  with  excitement   and hugged Ana, Tomeah felt different hugging Ana. Tomeah asked Ana if she was alright, Ana replied suspiciously and said yea, yea I am alright.

Julie was angry of what they have done to there daughter, Ana was always agreeing to stuff and was always quiet.  Julie and Tomeah and to do something,  Tomeah had a plan she said "The only thing that Ana love is a good prank, but who to pull it on" "DAD" Julie replied. Tomeah brought a BIG fan, a huge towel and some glue. The next day Tomeah covered the front porch with glue, hid the fan behind the bush and hanged the towel up on the roof where she will be ready to drop it, She heard someone coming out she dropped the towel and turned in the fan, but it was her mother but outside the top window was standing Ana  she stared and couldn't stop laughing she ran down and said "OMG, I was just tricking yous I was just pretending to be a nice and wonderful girl HEHE" 

At the end of the day Julie grounded Ana for two weeks and Tomeah she had to clean the toilet when it smells or it is dirty, That is the end of  Ana and her tricks.

The book of life!

Once upon a time there was two little boys and a beautiful girl, and there names were James the most wonderful singer in town, Alan the one who wants to be a sword fighter just like his father and Maria the most enchanting girl that they ever met.

Every year, on December the second they celebrate the land of the remembered  in mexico.

Everybody in town comes out with candles or lanterns and sit down where there beloved ones are buried. James and Alan they both lost their mother, they were bestest friends they had everything in common. Maria didn’t lose anybody it was just her dad, he was too over protective.

One day Maria wanted to save this little pig from getting cooked for dinner, she cut the rope attach to a another gate to kept the gate closed and a million pigs came rushing out. At the end of the road her dad was there all the pigs stopped and Maria got a growl and sent home. The next day Maria got sent to a boarding school for girls in Spain and won’t be coming back until years. They were both devastated.

What does Easter mean?

This is a presentation of what Easter means. These of what my research came out as. I hope you enjoyed and have the most wonderful Easter. 

What to do with millions of Easter eggs?

Did you get a million Easter eggs but you just don't want to eat them all and the lead up to a sore stomach, here are 1-10 ways to deal with a MILLION Easter eggs. 

1. Give them out to relatives or anyone you know.

2. Make your own little shop and sell the Easter eggs.

3. Do a raffle and sell the eggs like that.

4. Leave them a people's door steps to leave them a surprise.

5. Take a photo and put it on trade me. (?)

6. Give them to Kids can

7. Give it to a friend as a present for Easter.

8. Share it with you brothers and sisters.

9. Make it into a present and give them to someone you love the most.

10. Finally, try to make food out of the Easter eggs that you were given and try not to waste it.
