Visual Mihi - Term 1

This is my Visual Mihi, Surrounded by me are all the things that I love. First off, The picture I drew on the top left is Food and shows how I love eating. I  have a donut and a hot dog to represent my love for food. The next picture I drew is on the top right, it has in words "Family." I am the youngest of three. The third drawing I have done is my culture, I am proud of being Samoan and Niuean. My last and final drawing is to show how much I love to play sports, Such as Rugby, Netball, Softball and Basketball followed by Soccer.

In Memory of Priscilla Tui

Today, Sadly one of our parent helpers passed away. Today we remember her lovely smile, her loud beautiful voice and her impressive coaching skills,we all loved her. Priscilla Tui was a lovely mother to 5 children, she taught them well and loved them with her heart. Today our prayers go to her and her family, her children Rowana, Raewen - Eve, Cruz, Ollie and Ofili. She was a lovely woman who had passion in her heart. Priscilla Tui will always be with us, we love her and we will miss her. Today we pray for her and her lovely family. R.I.P Priscilla Tui

Description of task:

Today we learnt how to use Adjectives, Nouns, Verbs and adverbs, but there was a change of this we had to put them into order to make sense. We learnt how to use a range of language and use our inferencing skills, we did some heaps or learning today. Our whole class learnt this with a partner for help. This task was an good idea to put on our thinking caps for using top vocabulary for our poems, writing, reading answers and talk to the people we know or giving directions. Please leave a comment and some feedback of what I missed or I need to improve on.

The best week yet!!

WALT: Having fun with family

This week was a bust week! Having a family outing to rainbows end, my sister big 21st! going to see my dearest Nana at Mangere cemetery and having the time of my life with my beautiful cousins. I had an amazing holiday with my family, we went to go visit my Nana before we attend to my sister's 21st. It was an emotion time to see my Nana. The time that made it my holidays way better was when my cousins was able to join with us at my sister's 21st, as they live in Australia. My beautiful sister had an amazing night with her family and friends. Dancing, laughing parents having their own time it was the happiest moment ever.

My Trip to Rainbows end!!

WALT: Having fun with family
This week we went on a family trip to Rainbows end for our family before they go ck to Australia. We went on the new ride and got really sick but me and my family handled it somehow, we planned to go on the not extreme ride but ended up in the extreme RIDE I was super scared but
what I had to do was just to be calm and close my eyes it was so hard to do that. I

really hope that my family and I can go again we went on many rides like the Bumper boats, Bumper cars, Fear fall, Stratosfear, Invader, Power Surge and many more rides. Here are some photos to share our experience we have had.

My Whakapapa!!

Today we did our Whakapapa, I learn who were my grand parents name and where they were from and what my sister and brother liked to do. I learnt a bunch a words in Niuean and Samoan, I hope you enjoy my Whakapapa.
